MENU DEVELOPMENT + PRIVATE CHEF

Jason started his career exposed to true Southern cuisine in Charleston, SC, while attending Johnson and Wales University culinary school. The Atlanta native returned home to Georgia to work at several of the acclaimed restaurants around town, including Canoe, Local Three, and Muss & Turner’s.

In September 2012, he started the boutique private chef and catering company, Homespun, with his wife, Jamie. With a passion for locally sourced foods, Jason has thoroughly enjoyed giving life to the idea of an intentional communal food experience. 

Jason opened Kitchen Six, a neighborhood eatery, in 2016 as the operating partner and executive chef. Its instant success in the Oak Grove area highlighted his fine dining resume and straightforward, seasonal approach. 

In the fall of 2019, Jason left the restaurant to focus on menu development consulting and private chef services through Homespun. He takes great pleasure in using his skills and passions to serve the Atlanta community through his culinary creations.
