  • About the Role
    Homespun ATL is seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and hospitality-driven Event Coordinator to support our growing event operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is passionate about creating seamless, memorable experiences for our clients.

    You’ll work closely with our Hospitality and Culinary Teams to manage the full scope of event planning—from booking and logistics to execution and client communication. This role offers flexibility (20–40 hours/week) and opportunities for growth, including onsite event leadership to earn additional income.

    Hourly Rate: Starting at $25/hour, based on experience
    Location: In-office, Upper Westside Atlanta
    Availability: Set hours to be determined during the interview process
    Transportation: Reliable personal transportation required

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with our Client Service Specialist to confirm event details

    • Communicate with clients to provide week-of timelines and expectations

    • Represent the brand professionally in all communications (written and verbal)

    • Schedule and coordinate event staff with the Hospitality Team

    • Coordinate with the Culinary Team to confirm menus, dietary needs, and logistics

    • Oversee the Online Orders program, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment

    • Maintain and organize event inventory and workspace

    Ideal Candidate

    • Experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field

    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Team player with a people-first attitude

    • Familiarity with fine dining, food trends, and seasonal cuisine is a plus

    • Able to work independently and represent Homespun’s values on and off-site

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)

    • Experience with Tripleseat (preferred, but not required)

    • References and previous event coordination experience

    • Comfortable working in-office at our Upper Westside location

    JOB DUTIES

    As a member of the Hospitality Team, your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    -Assists the Event Lead in preparing space for gathering by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, utensils, etc.

    -Protects company and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and beverage policies.

    -Assist guests by answering food preparation questions.

    -Keeps the culinary team informed by noting the timing of meal progression.

    -Respond to additional client requirements by inquiring of needs; and observing the dining process.

    -Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; and being alert to special needs.

    -Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

CULINARY TEAM

  • At Homespun ATL, we craft elevated, locally inspired cuisine for unforgettable gatherings. Our team is rooted in hospitality, creativity, and a deep respect for seasonal ingredients. We’re currently seeking a Pastry Chef to bring their talent and passion for both sweet and savory offerings to our kitchen. From stunning desserts to artfully arranged charcuterie boards and beautifully curated small bites, you’ll help us create memorable experiences that reflect the season and the spirit of each event.

    Job Summary

    This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented chef with a strong foundation in both baking and savory preparation. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality pastries, assembling elegant boards (charcuterie, mezze, veg, etc,) and crafting seasonal small bite platters. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with our Culinary Team to develop and present new seasonal menu offerings that align with our brand.

    We’re looking for someone excited to grow with our team and contribute to the long-term vision of our evolving business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare a variety of baked goods and desserts based on seasonal menus and event needs

    • Assemble savory and sweet boards using thoughtful garnishes

    • Prepare savory small bites with an emphasis on balance, creativity, and presentation

    • Collaborate with the Culinary Team to develop seasonal menu offerings for catering and online orders

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation

    • Plate items for drop-off catering and events with consistency and attention to detail

    • Label and store ingredients and finished items following food safety and FIFO methods

    • Assist with prep and execution for larger events as needed

    • Follow all health and sanitation regulations

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in pastry/baking (catering or fine dining preferred)

    • Strong sense of creativity, time management, and attention to presentation

    • Familiarity with flavor pairings, seasonal ingredients, and charcuterie composition

    Job Summary

    The Prep Cook is responsible for assisting with ingredient preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food is properly stored and labeled. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong attention to detail, and is passionate about food.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and event menus

    • Assist with measuring, portioning, and assembling food items for catering orders

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, storage areas, and refrigeration units

    • Ensure all food is properly labeled and stored following food safety guidelines (FIFO method)

    • Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic cooking and plating tasks as needed

    • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper hygiene and sanitation practices

    • Assist with dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and waste disposal as necessary

    • Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager

    Requirements

    • Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate)

    • Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and knife skills is a plus

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-starter individual with excellent cooking skills and great people skills to join our team as an Event Chef. This is an exciting position for those who strive for excellence in cooking and hospitality, and enjoy working with high-end cuisine.

    This is a part-time, non-exempt position with flexible hours based on event schedules. Hourly rate of $25-30, based on experience. Hours fluctuate heavily based on the season, and weeknight and weekend availability is required. This position is based in our Upper Westside Kitchen and involves preparation duties as well as on-site work at events throughout the Metro Atlanta area. A personal, reliable means of transportation is required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    - At least 3 years of experience in a food-related field such as a restaurant, hotel, or catering.

    - At least 3 years of leadership experience in a kitchen setting.

    - Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

    - Excellent people skills. The ideal candidate should be a talented cook with a natural knack for hospitality and building rapport with clients.

    - Proficient in computer software such as G Suite and other related restaurant tools.

    - Passionate about preparing great food and drink while practicing authentic hospitality.

    - Desire to integrate into the Homespun culture and represent the company outside of scheduled shifts.

    - Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

    - Physical requirements include the ability to handle and carry trays, small wares, equipment, or other items weighing up to 50 lbs, standing, walking up and down stairs and uneven terrain, and exerting well-paced mobility for an extended time.

    - Ability to work independently.

    - A culinary school degree is a plus, but not required.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Work with our Culinary Team on the preparation at our Upper Westside Kitchen leading up to events.

    - Act as the Event Lead Chef for off-site bookings in private homes and event spaces on 1-2 nights per week.

    - Maintain inventory of event supplies, equipment, etc.

    - Handle all pre-event preparation, including packing event equipment and supplies.
