The 2017 Art Over Dinner series at Serenbe kicks off Sunday, Feb 12. The Art Farm is partnering with StoryCorps.

StoryCorps' mission is to preserve and share humanity's stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world. Join Serenbe and StoryCorps Atlanta's regional manager Daniel Horowitz at the Art Farm table for a farm-to-table meal under the stars. He will discuss how we can be a usable past and how recorded and preserved stories from the past can reshape the trajectory of our history.

Lexus and Serenbe present Art Over Dinner, a series of intimate gatherings with artists, personalities and the organizations that support their work.

A seasonal dinner will be prepared by Chef Jason Jimenez of Homespun ATL, wine provided by The Farmhouse at Serenbe, and music throughout dinner will be performed by John Burke.

June 5th- The Creative Force Behind Serenbe Playhouse: Founder & Artistic Director Brian Clowdus, Artistic Associate & Director of Theatre for Young Audiences Ryan Oliveti, Choreographer Bubba Carr and Music Director Chris Brent David

June 26th- Sarah Hobbs, AIR Serenbe Artist-in-Residence and 2016 Recipient of The Walker Evans Focus Fellowship. This award residency supports an artist photographing the American South.


Tickets are $85 each and limited to 40 guests

for our intimate evening of discussion and dinner.

This year we are excited to partner with Serenbe for their gathering series, Art Over Dinner. We will be preparing a seasonal meal each month. February's featured guest is Dashboard.

Since 2010, Dashboard has produced 25 large-scale, art exhibitions across the nation. A curatorial agency with an irreverent edge, Dashboard encourages artists to take outlandish risks and experiment with something they call "immersive practice."

This Sunday evening we are partnering with Serenbe to prepare a farm-to-table dinner at The Art Farm as part of Art Over Dinner

Art Over Dinner is a series of intimate gatherings with artists, personalities and the organizations who support their work. Join us at the table with filmmaker Erin Bernhardt. A screening of IMBA Means Sing will follow dinner.

As Homespun ATL continues to grow and serve the Atlanta Metro area, we are in need of individuals that have a passion for quality (local) food, serving others, and community. The positions are are part-time and on an as-needed basis for upcoming Homespun ATL events. These are paid positions. Rates are based on experience and will be discussed upon job offer.

Hospitality Team

Job Description

Serves Homespun ATL guests by presenting select menu choices, maintaining dining ambiance, and providing further information to guests when necessary.

Job Duties

As a member of the Hospitality Team, your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Prepares room for gathering by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, utensils, etc.
    • Protects company and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and beverage policies.
    • Helps guests select food by answering food preparation questions.
    • Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
    • Responds to additional client requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
    • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to spills or other special needs.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Kitchen Team

    Job Description

    This is not only a position which requires timely and quality preparation of product, but also the ability to interact with our guests, and grow in your craft.

    Job Duties

    As a Kitchen Team, your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist in menu preparation with basic knife skills, proper cooking technique, and attention to detail.
    • Fundamental knowledge of proper practices of food storage.
    • Team player in all aspects of the kitchen. ie: taking out the trash, washing dishes, and cleanliness throughout shift.
    • Mentally organized and efficient in day to day tasks.
    • Ability to handle stress while maintaining a positive attitude.
    • Eager to serve while being professional.
